Guardian Angel Bob Mullany 2/7/2012
Here in our black hole of perception where creation is in doubt
Lies a mass of misconceptions man may never figure out
Some pray to their guardian angels hovering closely up above
Their own spirit that connects them and protects them with their love
Guardian angel, shelter me
If I’m blinded help me see
Show compassion when I’m wrong
When I falter keep me strong
You may be mythical, it’s true
But it feels good to pray to you
Please come shower me with love
Our lives are filled with thorny questions, do we have our destined roles
Do we glide into the darkness, do we really have a soul ?
Is this ancient superstition or a child’s fairy tale
Where we conquer evil forces and retrieve the Holy Grail
Guardian angel, shelter me
If I’m blinded help me see
Show compassion when I’m wrong
When I falter keep me strong
You may be mythical, it’s true
But it feels good to pray to you
Please come shower me with love
I question all of god’s creation, I forget how faith can feel
Still I pray for a brighter future when my fate has been revealed
Another plane, another chance, another purpose to be served
The happy life that I have dreamed of rather than what I deserve
Guardian angel, shelter me
If I’m blinded help me see
Show compassion when I’m wrong
When I falter keep me strong
You may be mythical, it’s true
But it feels good to pray to you
Please come shower me with love
I hope you’ll shower me with love
Sweet Angel shower me with love
