Bodacious Betty

Bodacious Betty (Key of G)

She got a sweet, neat rack,
She got a tight caboose
Friday night she like to shake it loose
All the men, they come from miles around
They all step up but she just wears ‘em down

She do the Hi-de-hi,
She do the Ball the Jack
Turn on a dime and give you nine cents back
You’ll need a mojo bag
With a Conqueroo
When Bodacious Betty work her Hoochie Coo

When she rolls her hips
Like a tsunami wave
I swear she’ll send you to an early grave
She’ll make you ride the edge
Of pleasure and pain
When she grind your junk you won’t be thinking with your brain

She do the Hi-de-hi,
She do the Ball the Jack
Turn on a dime and give you nine cents back
You’ll need a mojo bag
With a Conqueroo
When Bodacious Betty work her Hoochie Coo

Adam in the garden,
Eve's craving a seed
She said, “Sweet baby, I know just what you need !
Put down that apple,
I’ve got some pie.”
Adam, he said, “My, my, my !”

She do the Hi-de-hi,
She do the Ball the Jack
Turn on a dime and give you nine cents back
You’ll need a mojo bag
With a Conqueroo
When Bodacious Betty work her Hoochie Coo

Do you have the courage,
Can you keep control ?
One good night with Betty may save your soul
She know the slow and easy,
She know the hot and hard,
Or you may find the gates of heaven in her back yard.

She do the Hi-de-hi,
She do the Ball the Jack
Turn on a dime and give you nine cents back
You’ll need a mojo bag
With a John the Conqueroo
When Bodacious Betty work her Hoochie Coo

This song is about the hottest woman in the world (Bodacious Betty). I spent more time researching Hoodoo magical practices than I did writing  the song. Hoodoo is found mostly in the south and has central african roots mixed with Native American plants and the use of the Bible for some of it's conjuring.  Some of the direct influences for this song was an old film of Cab Calloway singing "Minnie the Moocher"  who was "a real hoochie coocher" , which derives from early 20th century "hoochie coochie dancers" and "hooch (alcohol) houses"  full of  "cooch "
