I'm spiritually sceptical and emotionally illiterate
I'm genetically inclined to question truth when I consider it
You, though, on the the other hand
Believe in God's great master plan
Beyond what we can understand or know

I once faced the holy wrath of Sister Margaret Mary
She filled my fragile mind with much more guilt than I could carry
You, though , don't see faith that way
You find solace when you pray
Jesus loves you every day and so

I've lived longer than my dad but I've learned nothing more
Every door I open just leads to another door
