Nameless Lady

Nameless Lady © 6/21/1978 Bob Mullany

Nameless lady
If you could know the subtle urges you engender
Young as the moment, old as time
A hint of passion so sublime
It's in a world away from here that you'll surrender

Two directions,
Missed connections,
Passing ships
The moon and sun
Appear as one in their eclipse

Nameless lady
You wouldn't know, to look at me,
I'm such a savage
You'll pass me by, we'll never meet
Two souls alone upon a street
Yet in my mind a spell is cast
-You have been ravished

Two directions,
Missed connections,
Passing ships
The moon and sun
Appear as one in their eclipse
