Scratch My Back

Scratch My Back © 1973 Bob Mullany

We got no money in our pockets
We don't even have a car
We're way out in the country
So we can't go very far
But I think I thought of something
Make us feel just fine
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine
It'll make your body quiver
And send shivers up your spine
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine

We've got to do a little planning
So we do it up right
Baby, light a couple candles,
Then we'll turn off all the lights
Then we'll smoke a couple numbers
And drink a little wine,
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine
It'll make your body quiver
And send shivers up your spine
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine

We can do a little scratching,
Then we'll do a little rubbing,
Get into the tub
And do a little bit of bubbling
Then a little bit of loving
By the soft moonshine
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine
It'll make your body quiver
And send shivers up your spine
Honey, let me scratch your back
And then I'll let you scratch mine
