Mr. Homebody

Mr. Homebody

Got a back yard dog and a front door cat
Got my sunny day shoes and my rainy day hat
I’m Mr. Homebody, don’t need much money
My baby loves me, and that’s OK by me

Got three squares a day and a midnight snack
Got a little blue pickup parked out back
I’m Mr. Homebody, don’t need much money
My baby loves me, and that’s OK by me

I work on the house, I work in the yard
I’ll work anywhere, but not too hard
I’m Mr. Homebody, don’t need much money
My baby loves me, and that’s OK by me

Me and my old lady
Sometimes we step out
See all kinds of crazy people walkin’and talkin’,
Don’t know what they’re talkin’ ‘bout
Me an my old lady
We don’t really care
Them crazy people gonna walk and talk
Even if we both ain’t there.

Got a back yard dog and a front door cat
Got my sunny day shoes and my rainy day hat
I’m Mr. Homebody, don’t need much money
My baby loves me, and that’s OK by me
