More Love

More Love © 2/1/2009 Bob Mullany

Love brings more love to the world
Since God drove us from Eden
Love brings more love to the world
and the tale keeps repeating
Love plants a seed, life comes to flower
With the subtly sacred strength of it's power
Love brings more love to the world...

Love brings more love to the world,
And pain was never so sweet
Love brings more love to the world,
Now the circle's complete
As love touches us on this blessed occasion
Love is passed on to a new generation
Yes, love brings more love to the world...

Love brings more love to the world
as a mate becomes mother
Love brings more love to the world;
father, sisters, and brothers
It's the heartof the plan, it's the essence of life
The birth of a child bonds a man and his wife
And love brings more love to the world ...

  1. "From the moment of birth, when the stone-age baby confronts the twentieth-century mother, the baby is subjected to these forces of violence, called love, as its mother and father have been, and their parents and their parents before them. These forces are mainly concerned with destroying most of its potentialities. This enterprise is on the whole successful."
