I'm Just Lookin'

I'm Just Lookin © Bob Mullany 5/17/2008

I ain’t shopping, no, I’m just lookin
No, I ain't shopping, I'm just lookin
Yes, I'm satisfied with my home cookin
Still, you sure are something to see
But lookin is enough for me

You ask me if I’m hittin on you
I thought you were hittin on me
With that tempting smile I'm so beguiled
you’re sweeter than sweet should be
But I'm spoken for, as some people call it
Got the family pictures in my wallet
Still, you sure are something to see
But lookin is enough for me

I ain’t shopping, no, I’m just lookin
No, I ain't shopping, I'm just lookin
Yes, I'm satisfied with my home cookin
Still, you sure are something to see
But lookin is enough for me

Some guys throw their money around
Like it was nothing but dust
Trying to impress some pretty young girl
But money can't buy you trust
Just one look and it's clear as glass
I ain't the kinda fella that moves that fast
Still you sure are something to see
But lookin' is enough for me

I ain’t shopping, no, I’m just lookin
No, I ain't shopping, I'm just lookin
Yes, I love the taste of my home cookin
Still, you sure are something to see
But lookin is enough for me

Now, I ain't rich, or pretty, or smart,
Anyone can tell that's true
But I appreciate the finer arts
And there's plenty that's fine with you
If one thing makes me all fuzzy and warm
It's a beautiful rendition of the feminine form
And you sure are something to see
But lookin' is enough for me

I ain’t shopping, no, I’m just lookin
No, I ain't shopping, I'm just lookin
Yes, I'm going home to my home cookin
Still, you sure are something to see
But lookin is enough for me
