Genesis

Genesis III

The sky grew dark, the rain came down
It rained for days 'til it filled the town
Some people had faith, some people felt fear
They filled their boats with snacks and beer
Then the rains still fell, and the waters swelled,
Till the whole damned town was a watery hell
Then we heard a voice cry out of the dark
"My name's Noah, come board my Ark"

You may know an Ark is a great big boat
You'd swear it was so heavy it would never float
Yet it surely did, but it smelled bad too
Noah loved critters, had a whole damned zoo
When the beer ran out, we asked to stop
At a Seven & Eleven by a mountaintop
So we all jumped out and we sealed our fate
The water kept rising but the air smelled great
Just goes to show you never can tell
One man's heaven is another man's hell
