Angel


She looks like an angel
She acts like an angel
She smiles like an angel too
All the evidence points to her being an angel
I’m beginning to think it’s true


She’ll always deny it, she swears I’m mistaken
But my faith in goodness has been reawakened
She says there’s no proof, but there’s nobody kinder
Have you seen how the light seems to seek out and find her ?
Now, I’m not a man who is easily swayed
But she’s won me over with her angelic ways


Yes, she walks like and angel
Talks like and angel
She can sing like an angel too
All the evidence points to her being an angel
I’m beginning to think it’s true


She’s wise like an angel
Has eyes like an angel
Prob’ly flies like an angel too (when nobody’s lookin)
